The original band that formed in Jan. 2001 was called Void. It included Jon Suel, Sean Alvey, John Stemmle, and Brandon Sidebottom. Void worked up original material and opened up for Flaw in June of 2001. The band was pretty heavy with a different sound and solid music. But after Void's opening show, the band grew tense and let other influences keep the band from gettin more shows and work done. Brandon quit. Sean, John and Jon had to put the band on hold. In late 2002, Jon found a guitarist in one of his classes, while Clay Cook was presenting a guitar project, Jon asked Clay to possibly join his band. A new year for new beginings, Clay brought a distinctive sound and style. Creating the band Static/Divide. Soon after the band formed, the former guitarist heard the news of this band. He came into practice and brought what they needed, A second guitarist. The band has opened up for Ozzfest's Neurotica and hopes to take the recording indutry by storm. The band plays A show almost every week and is very dedicated practicing two times a week. We bring solid hardcore with great melodic rythms that you can feel and relate to.
